a home game. Rather equated first half, where we had the
quicker start. In the second half, Salzburg put us under heavy
pressure, but luck was on our side......

Well, shall we call it a thrashing? Apart
from the fact, that our pack constantly pushed off the
Viennese forwards in the scrums, we were acting clueless. The
Vienna youngsters showed us how to play intelligent Rugby.
Whilst the first 30 minutes were quite ok, we went down
completely in the second half. Probably our worst perfomance
ever.......Snuff said.

Is that humilation? Graz crushed us in a
12 try romp. Running riot, Graz led by 49 at half time.
On
the other hand, the second half was promising. We managed to
score twice (Vaculik, Kühr) and conceded less points than in
the first half.

advantage for us, but lack of skill and pace. We kept it a tie
in the first half, but conceded another try and a penalty goal
in the second half.

Our first friendly. We played better than
expected, although we showed lots of
shortcomings, especially in fitness and
strength. We had to borrow 4 players from Vienna, two of them
already played for the national team of Austria, so maybe this
affected our performance... ;-)
